State police at Lehighton said a person entered the Jim Thorpe National Bank branch at 1397 SR903 in Penn Forest Township, on Sept. 9 and opened a business account and made a deposit of more than $8,000 by check. The suspect then proceeded to withdraw about $7,800 from the account.
