The Ross Township Park Committee is hosting the Second Community Day Fair at the VanBuskirk-Haney Park, located on Anchorage Road in Saylorsburg on Saturday, Sept. 18 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Park Committee wants to promote community involvement and is inviting people to come out and meet your neighbors. It is a great way to find out about different organizations and a fantastic opportunity to become involved in your community.Some of the participating organizations: Blue Ridge Fire Co. and the Ladies Auxiliary; West End Ambulance; Pocono Greyhounds; Women of Ross; United Way; YMCA; Monroe County Cruisers; Aquashicola/Pohopoco Watershed; Western Pocono Women's Club; West End Park and Open Space Commission (WEPOSC); Ross Twp Veterans Memorial; Monroe County Recreation-KIDS ZONE.The "Riverside Rhythm Band," a 12+ piece Big Band located in the Poconos and has been entertaining audiences throughout Northeast Pennsylvania since 2007, will be the day's entertainment.Please call 570-992-9733 for further info.
