A Mudpatch family reunion occurs in Summit Hill on Saturday, with some great down home "fixings," hilarity, and some mystery.

The event, "The Hillbillies from Hell," is a dinner show at the Parkview Inn, which is located along West Ludlow Street.

Sharon Chapman, an owner of the Parkview, says, "Come on over and meet the Mudpatch family."

There's cousin Maybelline, who is very excited about using the indoor plumbing.

Her husband, Buford, really did not want to attend the reunion and leave all the comforts of the trailer, but Maybelline insisted.

No reunion would be complete without Buford's mammy, who is well-known for her moonshine.

Mammy, Maybelline, and Buford are eager to see cousin Preacher Billy Bob, their other beautiful cousin, Leezy Mae; the Miss Crooked County beauty queen, and Uncle Jethro, the disgraced mayor of the county.

These crazy Mudpatches will "Hillbilly stomp" one of their relatives to death, and it will take a mysterious, forgotten relative from the past to solve the case.

Chapman said, "Put on your best daisy dukes or bibs and enjoy the evening."

Prizes will be awarded to the "best dressed hillbilly."
