Burglary, thefts and other mischief

State police at Lehighton reported on a burglary, several theft and criminal mischief incidents investigated by troopers in recent days.

The break-in occurred at a residence at 1721 Faulstick Rd., in Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County. Troopers said the criminals used an unknown type tool to open the front door. Items, not specified, were removed from the home. The incident occurred sometime between Aug. 25 and Sept. 1. The property is owned by David Ralph Vetter, 54, of Yardley, Bucks County.Troopers said the unlocked vehicle of Carl Lawrence Tuleno Jr., 40, of White Oak Drive, Kunkletown R.1, Polk Township, Monroe County, was entered sometime between Aug. 21-28 and removed were multiple tools located in the rear of the vehicle.A tailgate from a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer, white in color, was stolen from Karl's Towing, located at 2008 SR115, in Saylorsburg, Ross Township, sometime between midnight and noon on Aug. 28.Monica Kircher, 40, of Effort, reported someone removed her cellular phone from a school bus she was driving at the Pleasant Valley Intermediate School in Polk Township, Monroe County. The theft occurred sometime on Sept. 1.Keith D. Kerrigan, of Cub Lane, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, reported someone stole his garden trailer from his lawn sometime between Aug. 21-30. The trailer is valued at $100.Several criminal mischief incidents were reported.Carmel M. Marti, 51, of Sunset Circle, Kresgeville, Polk Township, reported someone damaged the antennas on his two 2008 Suzuki XL7's that were parked at his residence. The incident occurred sometime between midnight and 9 a.m. on Aug. 31. Damages were estimated at $400.Jared Lee Dehaven, 25, of Kresgeville, reported someone threw a rock through the side door and side windows at his residence located at the intersection of Lower Middle Creek Road and SR534 in Polk Township. The incident occurred sometime between 7 and 9 a.m. on Aug. 31. Damages were estimated at $300.Joanne McCarty, 46, of 8974 E. Sherwood Rd., Robinhood Ave., Kunkletown, reported someone cut a piece of television cable from her splitter. The incident occurred sometime between 4 and 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 31.
