The Panther Valley Library Board will hold a reorganization meeting at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at the library at 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford.
Everyone is invited to attend to share ideas, offer to volunteer or serve on the board, or just visit the library, said Director Debi Dodson.
Until new funding is found, the library will open from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and from 3-7 p.m. Thursdays.
The library, housed in the former Lansford United Methodist Church, opened in 2003, but was closed recently after keeping only evening hours for several weeks. The library serves Lansford, Summit Hill, Nesquehoning and Coaldale.
Board members held a special meeting on Saturday to discuss the problems, Dodson said.
