The engagement of Jena L. Wassmer, Andreas, to Josh A. Wank, Lansford, has been announced by their parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Wayne and Lynn Wassmer of Andreas. She is a 2004 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, and a 2008 graduate of Moravian College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in English language/literature and elementary education. She is an elementary teacher in the Lehighton Area School District.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Albert and Karen Wank of Llewellyn. He is a 1999 graduate of Minersville Area High School, and a 2003 graduate of Penn State University, University Park, where he earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education. He is the seventh grade history teacher at Panther Valley Middle School, as well as the head girls basketball coach.The couple currently resides in Lansford.A wedding date is set for June 16, 2012.
