Troopers report DUI arrests

State police at Lehighton reported on several driving under the influence arrests made by troopers recently.

About 3 a.m. on May 25, troopers stopped Brian O'Donnell, 46, of Pen Argyl, along Route 209 at the Dollar General Store in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and taken to the county DUI center for a blood test.On May 26 about 7 p.m. troopers stopped Shaun C. Stenlake, 35, of Kresgeville, along Mountain View Road, at the intersection with Upper Greenhill Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County, for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.On Friday, May 20, at 11:59 p.m. troopers stopped Nathan L. Strawn, 27, of Scranton, along Route 209, south of Forest Inn Road, in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest.On Monday, June 2, at 12:40 a.m. troopers stopped Kurt Eckhart, 26, of Palmerton, along Old Route 115, at the southbound ramp of Route 33, in Ross Township, Monroe County, for a vehicle code violation. He was also found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.
