Emilo Beckett, 16, son of Dr. Ed and Beth Beckett of Lehighton, soloed on Friday, Nov. 12, three days after his 16th birthday. Emilo took instruction under Byron Arner. He is a sophomore at Lehighton Area High School. His next goal is a private pilot license, which has an age requirement of 17.
