North Railroad Street (Pleasant Row) in Tamaqua will be closed to traffic on Thursday, Nov. 11 and Friday, Nov. 12 for retaining wall and street reconstruction.

Pleasant Row and one block of West Elm Street between Washington and North Railroad streets will be closed to traffic Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. These streets will be reopened at approximately 3:30 p.m. each day.Drivers and pedestrians should avoid this area during construction. This schedule may change depending on weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.Although these streets are closed the Italian Bakery will continue to operate during the construction.
