A night of fun and laughter is planned for Saturday, Nov. 20, when the eighth annual Tech-Net Comedy Night will be held at Penn's Peak, Jim Thorpe. Doors open at 5 p.m. The live comedy show, featuring comedians from Wise Crackers Comedy Club will begin at 9 p.m. There also will be live music and a silent auction.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Dream Come True, Blue Ridge Chapter and the following six local fire departments: Aquashicola Volunteer Fire Department, Franklin Township Fire Company, Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company, Parryville Fire Company, Penn Forest Fire Company and West End Fire Company, Brodheadsville.

Donations of products, services and/or gift certificates are being accepted for the silent auction.

Tech-Net Profession Auto Service has raised more than $79,000 over the past seven years from this fun-filled, one-night event to support the local community. Tickets sold are limited to 1,000.
