LAHS recognizes seniors

Lehighton Area High School honored outstanding members of its class of 2010 May 13. The seniors were presented their awards during the school's annual All School Academic Awards Assembly. For their exemplary efforts, the winning students received scholarship money to help facilitate the pursuit of their post-secondary educations.

The Major General & Mrs. Bert A. David Award: Alex Matika, $4,000. C. Arthur & Elizabeth Walters Hammers Scholarship: Sara Bednar, Dacin Kemmerer, Timothy Sulzer and Erica Wenrich, $1,500 a year for four years.
