The driver of a sports car was injured Tuesday afternoon when involved in a crash along state route 145 in Walnutport. The crash occurred just after 1 p.m. as the victim was driving north and for some unknown reason left the right berm and struck the end of a set of steel guardrails. He was treated at the scene by members of the Diamond Fire Company and Northern Valley ambulance then transported to an area hospital. Walnutport police are investigating the incident. Route 145 was reduced to one lane at the scene of the crash.
