Holy Family University pitcher Jody Searfoss was recently named to the 2010 All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) softball All-Star team.

Searfoss, a graduate of Marian High School, was selected to the first team for the first time in her four-year career at Holy Family. In her first three seasons at Holy Family, Searfoss was a second team pick.

This season, Searfoss was 14-13 with an earned run average of 2.17. Searfoss led the CACC with a program-record 242 strikeouts. She also ranked fourth in the conference in innings pitched (180).

At the plate, Searfoss had .261 batting average with three home runs and nine RBIs. She was led the team in walks (18), was second in stolen bases (seven), third in runs scored (20), fourth in home runs and fifth in batting average.

Searfoss finished her career with a record of 48-44 and an ERA of 2.10. She struck out a program-best 656 batters. Searfoss sits second in career complete games (80), shutouts (17), innings pitched (610.1) and wins (48). Her 2.10 ERA is seventh best all-time.

Holy Family finished the season 24-23 overall and 18-8 in the CACC.
