Two candidates for Pennsylvania governor, two for the U.S. Congress, and one for lieutenant governor are among the speakers participating in a Town Hall Forum on Tuesday at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe.

The Town Hall Forum will begin at 7 p.m. and is being hosted by the Lehighton 9/12 project. It will be televised live on Blue Ridge Communications TV 13.

A donation will be taken at the door.

The gubernatorial candidates who will speak are Attorney General Tom Corbett, who has announced a legal challenge to the House version of the Health Care Reform Bill, and State Representative Tom Rohrer.

Stephen Urban, seeking the office of lieutenant governor, said he will attend.

The candidates for congress who will be present are Corey O'Brient, a Democrat, and Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta, a Republican.

Invited to attend but declining were Congressman Joe Sestak, Congressman Paul Kanjorski, and Senator Arlen Specter.

Coordinators MaryEllen Salerno and Sandy Dellecker said reservations are encouraged. To RSVP for the meeting, e mail [1].

Salerno said PCN has requested a copy of the Town Hall and will broadcast it on their "statewide" network in addition to the live broadcast.

It was noted that Roadies Restaurant at Penn's Peak is accepting dinner reservations, but that they should be made no later than 5:45 p.m. to assure making the start time for the Town Hall Forum.

Those attending the forum are requested to arrive in time to be seated by 6:45 p.m.
