Genevieve (Plesniarski) Banach, a resident at Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly celebrated her 92nd birthday on Sunday. Genevieve was born in Summit Hill on March 14, 1918.

She has also resided in Jersey City, N.J. and Kearny, N.J.She was married to her husband, Frank, for 21 years until his passing in 1970.She was a member of St. Ann's church choir and Sodality Club. She also played the organ at the church for special services.Her hobbies over the years include crocheting and sewing.
