Four proposed subdivisions throughout Carbon County got the green light during Tuesday's monthly meeting of the Carbon County Planning Commission.

During the meeting, the subdivision plans each received unanimous support from the commission's members. Details about each of the approved plans are as follows:•Susan J. Zavagansky/ Lana J. Kuehner, Donald R. and Elaine M. George received plan approval for a proposed subdivision at the intersection of Church Drive and Beers Lane in Towamensing Township. The plan calls for the subdivision of 34.79 acres, owned by Zavagansky, into a 29.29-acre lot and a five-acre lot. The five-acre lot would then be combine with the George's adjoining lands.• Gregory A. and Louise H. Sander received plan approval for a proposed land development plan at 875 Green St., Franklin Township. The plan calls for the construction of two single-family residential homes on their 19.677-acre lot.• Christine H. Bak-Boychuk, owner and developer of the Ukrainian Homestead, acting under the Bak-BoyChuk Family Trust, received plan approval to combine three lots of the Ukrainian Homestead near the intersection of Pine Hollow Road and Dutch Road in Mahoning Township.• Margie Holland received plan approval for a proposed subdivision at 424 Center Ave., Jim Thorpe. The plan calls for the subdivision of a .218-acre lot into two lots.
