State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of copper piping from a Schuylkill County location. Troopers are also probing damage at a county cemetery.

The theft incident occurred at the residence of Kenneth K. Kintzel, 57, of 233 Pine Hill Rd., in Pine Grove Township. Unknown criminals removed about 100 pounds of copper piping valued at about $200 from a scrap pile located to the rear of a shed on the victim's property. The incident occurred sometime between June 11 at 8:30 p.m. and June 12 at 8:30 a.m.

Troopers said unknown criminals knocked over a tombstone at the Jerusalem Cemetery located in North Manheim Township. The incident occurred sometime between June 11 at 2 pm. and June 12 at 11 a.m.

The theft of two dogs is being probed. Amanda Jean Gill, Valley St., Pottsville, reported two dogs were stolen from the Hillside SPCA in North Manheim Township sometime overnight of June 12-13. The dogs were described as a white pit bull with a black eye and a black and tan rottweiller mix.

Troopers said unknown criminals entered the unsecured tent of Flower Tent USA, located off SR61 between the Manheim Diner and Exxon service station, and removed several floral hanging baskets and cone shaped baskets valued at $150. The incident occurred sometime between June 10 at 7 p.m. and June 11 at 9 a.m.

Troopers are investigtaing two acts of criminal mischief.

Troopers said unknown criminals broke off the side mirror of a 2005 Ford Escape, owned by Thomas S. Mundy, 72, of Minersville, while parked on a lot at the Fairlane Village Mall in Norwegian Township. A blunt object was used in the incident that occurred sometime between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 13.

Agnes Fitanzo, of Pottsville, reported that someone scratched the hood on her 2008 Chevrolet Equinox while parked on a lot at Rest Haven home in North Manheim Township. The incident occurred sometime between 11 p.m. on May 24 and 7:05 a.m. on May 25.
