Lehighton Lodge 621 Free and Accepted Masons recently donated $250 scholarships to two graduating students, Aubrey Bourgault, left; and Zachary Althouse, right. Presenting the checks was Richard Hess, worshipful master. Bourgault is the granddaughter of David Schappell and is a 2010 graduate of Lehighton Area High School. She plans to study health care professional at Temple University, Philadelphia, to become a physical therapist. Zachary Althouse, of Lehighton, grandson of Wayne Althouse, is a 2010 graduate of Moravian Academy, who plans to study business at Wake Forest University, Winston Salem, N.C. The students were selected by the scholarship committee.
