The Tamaqua Area High School Chapter of the National English Honor Society has inducted new members. Requirements include: being a junior or senior and having a 92 percent average in regular or Honors English or a 90 percent in College English, Students must have a career GPA of at least 90 percent, must submit a letter of recommendation from one English teacher who taught the student and must submit a one page essay explaining what he/she can contribute to the local chapter.
