Three persons were charged after they engaged in a fight.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Thursday, July 1, about 3:48 a.m. officers were called to 409 Sunnyfield Terrace, Tobyhanna, Coolbaugh Township, to a report of a fight. Upon arrival officers spoke with Fidel Anthony Cruz, 26, Lucely Vargas, 24, both of Tobyhanna, and Jose Pena-Sandoval, 46, of Carbondale.Police determined that the three were involved in a verbal argument that turned physical. The three were all injured in the fight. A fourth person, Josefa Gonzalez, was injured when she attempted to break up the fight, police said.Gonzalez and Pena-Sandoval were transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment of injuries. Charges will be filed for simple assault and harassment against Vargas, Cruz and Pena-Sandoval, police added.
