A Lehighton man admitted in Carbon County court his part in the theft of a Freightliner tractor with trailer. He was one of several defendants in pending cases to enter a guilty plea before Senior Judge Richard W. Webb.

David Eisenhower, 29, pleaded guilty to one count of receiving stolen property in the theft incident that occurred on Sept. 1, 2008, in Franklin Township. The truck was owned by Railroad Resources, of Allentown, and was a 1997 model.Eisenhower also pleaded guilty to one count of harassment for an incident on Jan. 29 in Lehighton with Crhsitine Mertz as the listed victim.Webb deferred sentencing and ordered a presentence investigation (PSI) report be prepared by the adult probation office.Other pleasOther defendants who entered pleas included:Sofia K. Calabro, 32, of White Haven, pleaded to two counts of theft. He was charged by Kidder Township police for an incidnet on May 9 in which he stole a laptop computer belonging to Patricia Kemler.Webb placed him on probation for a year on each count, runnning concurrently, and ordered restitution of $1,300 and render three hours of community service per month while on probation.Cornelius James Cregan, 58, of Effort, pleaded to one count of driving under the influence (DUI). He was arrested by state police at Lehighton on Sept. 18, 2009, along SR209 in Towamensing Township. Given a test, the result was .18BAC.Webb deferred sentencing and ordered a PSI.Danielle Eremus, 21, of Lehighton, pleaded to one count of theft. She was charged by Lehighton police for an incident on June 5, 2009, with Jean Eremus the listed victim involving credit cards.Webb placed her on probation for a year and ordered her to get a drug and alcohol (D&A) evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment.Jeremiah Exner, 27, of Lehighton, pleaded to one count of receiving stolen property. He was arrested on Dec. 11, 2008, by Franklin Township police for his involvement in the theft of a all terrain vehicle (ATV) owned by Michael Rehl.Webb placed him on probation for a year.John David Klotz, 33, of Lehighton, pleaded to one count of DUI. He was arrested on April 14, 2009, along SR895 in Bowmanstown by state police. Given at test, the result was .07BAC.Webb sentenced him to serve five days to six months in jail, a fine of $300, one year license suspension, and get a D&A evaluation. On three summary violations he was fined a total of $60 and costs.He began the jail term on Jan. 8 at 5 p.m.Kimberly Sue Schnell, 27, of Nesquehoning, pleaded to one count of DUI. She was arrested on July 19, 2009, along Locust St., in Nesquehoning. Given a test, the result was .21BAC.Webb sentenced her to serve 48 hours to six months in jail, a fine of $500, one year license suspension, get a D&A evaluation and zero tolerance on D&A use.She will begin the jail term on Jan. 23 at 8:30 p.m.Joshua M. Strohl, 21, of Jim Thorpe, pleaded to one count of retail theft. He was arrested on June 6, 2009, at the Redners Market in Nesquehoning, with $5.99 the value of the item taken.Webb placed him on probation for a year and ordered restitution of $5.99, get a D&A evaluation and must obtain his General Education Dipolma (GED).Matthew Charles Stuber, 29, of Lansford, pleaded to one count of default in required appearance. He was arrested by Lansford police for an incident at his residence on May 16, 2007.Webb placed him on probation for a year which runs consecutive to a sentence he is currently serving.All defendants must also pay court costs and a $50 per month supervision fee.
