Redner's helps Nesquehoning police

Recently councilman Frank DiMiceli initiated a fund drive for the Nesquehoning Police Department. Letters went out to businesses asking for their donations to purchase mobile video units for the police cars. Two units will be purchased, one for day shift and one for night shift. Redner's donated $2,000 to help purchase the units and hopefully other Nesquehoning businesses will support the worthwhile cause. The units cost $4,500 each and on hand for the presentation were Lois Gasser, store director; Nesquehoning Mayor Tony Walck accepting the check; and Eric White, Consumer Communications Specialist of Redner's. Missing from photo is DiMiceli.
