The Bach and Handel Chorale will perform its Easter Concert on Saturday, April 10 at 3 p.m. in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 21 Race St., Jim Thorpe, under the direction of Randall D. Perry, artistic director.

The Victorian Easter Cantata, "Darkness to Dawn," composed by Fred W. Peace will open the program. This concert will commemorate the 150th Anniversary Celebration. A free will offering will be taken.The chorale will perform its annual Spring Concert at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 1 at St. Mark's in Jim Thorpe. Under the direction of Maestro Perry, the Spring Concert will feature many great choruses sung by the chorale.Part I will include: "Surely, He Hath Borne Our Griefs," "And With His Stripes We Are Healed," and "All We Like Sheep" from Handel's "Messiah" as well as "Let Thy Hand Be Strengthened," from Handel's Coronation Anthem No. 4. Part II will include: Bach's "Dona Nobis Pacem," and other familiar choruses from Bach Cantatas. Maestro Perry will perform Gigue (from Harpsichord Concerto in G) by Handel. The finale will be the famous "Hallelujah" from "Messiah".
