Temple Israel of Lehighton will be celebrating T'u B'shvat with a Kabbalistic Seder at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14. This special dinner/ service emphasizes the connections and connectedness - to inner-selves, to the social world of human beings, and to the natural world and its Source. Rabbi Melody Davis will lead us on this spiritual journey with music, story and prayer.
T'u B'shvat is the Jewish New Year for the Trees. It is the beginning of Spring in Israel. Nurturing rains are at their zenith and the world bursts with buds of fragrant life.
