Girl Scouts from Tamaqua service unit 310 collected hundreds of sunglasses for the Tamaqua Lions Club "Sight Night" with scouts. Sight Night: Scaring Up Eyeglasses for Those in Need

This was the third year the scouts participated in the drive. Twenty-four girl scouts who participated in the drive earned both a certificate and a badge for collecting 10 or more glasses each. First time collectors also received a special patch from the Tamaqua Lions Club. Nancy Paisley, service unit manager, pointed out how proud she was of all the scouts and families that worked hard to make this year's drive so successful.
