Students of St. Joseph Regional Academy (SJRA) in Jim Thorpe attended an assembly in the school's auditorium to express their gratitude for a donation that was made to aid their school in its operations.

They wanted to show their appreciation to the owners of the Old Jail Museum on West Broadway in Jim Thorpe for their support of their school.

For the third year in a row, the Museum hosted "Ghost Tours" with the assistance of parents of the SJRA Home and School Association who acted as guides for the tours.

This year's Ghost Tours raised a total of $7,200 for the school exceeding the amounts raised in each of the first two years of the tours.

To show their appreciation to museum owners Tom and Betty Lou McBride for their donation, students presented Betty Lou with a photograph of several students in front of the museum holding up signs that spelled out "Thank You".

Mrs. McBride said that "the turnout was fabulous" for the tours which were held in the evenings of the last three Saturdays in October.
