I wish I knew that

Dear Editor:

* If you think exiting onto Interchange Road at the hardware store and turnpike is bad now, wait until they widen the road and add a new bridge.* Here's a bad dream for you. Obama turned the page on his next plan to help save jobs in America ... And he still saw Harry Reid and Pelosi. Even after the election.* Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.* The older I get the more I am amazed how a class of folks who earn their living MUST be introduced by their job description. If you don't think so try calling your held care provider by their first name.* Do you remember when your kids had a thing called an "Etch a sketch" my spousal equivalent keeps my honey do list on one. The great part is, all I have to do is bump the sketch and the jobs are gone. I'm out of there.* With the elections several years ago for president folks thought there was a sudden light at the end of the tunnel. Instead we had a locomotive train coming at us. Don't make the same mistake twice. 2012 is not that far away.* There was a full-page ad in the TIMES NEWS about a job fair. That's the up side. However on the down side, I had a WOW moment wgeb several of the tips told folks to bring a pen to fill out the applications, to dress properly and smile. They forgot to tell the applicants to brush their teeth and comb their hair.* I just read where I wonder boy president made an unannounced trio to Afghanistan. Are we really that naive to believe that he can go anywhere unannounced.* Who would guess gas prices would increase in December. DUH!* The only good thing about the new and improved Walmart is the view. Try to get there when it snows.* I was happy to see the highway department took action to close traffic to the hazardous entry near Wally World. But why did it take so long?* I was watching an interview with VP Biden and thought of Plato's quote "Wise men talk because they have something to say, fools talk because they have to say something." So very true. Take the train home Joe.* It was reported that the personal credit card debt in this country is a $2 trillion. That's before the holiday shopping. How is the secretary of treasury going to help to keep our head above the flood tide. Perhaps we need our own bail out and not the banks or mortgage industry.Later Boo-ba-la.Happy holiday. From the pen ofK Treger, Lehighton
