Two men were cited following a vehicle stop in Tamaqua in July.

The incident took place at 8:03 a.m. July 16 when Officer Matthew Houser stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Washington and Jerome streets. The driver, identified as Dillian Zehner, 21, of 67 Fawn Lane, Tamaqua R.D., was cited for disorderly conduct at the time.Also at the time Houser detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. He was given consent to conduct a search and discovered 23 grams of marijuana under the passenger side seat. The seat was occupied by Travis Hill, 20, of 208 Spruce St., Tamaqua.Charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia were filed by Houser on Dec. 12.
