The Tamaqua 2010 Little Miss Spirit of Christmas Festival Committee has announced the winner of this year's essay contest. The 2010 Little Miss Spirit of Christmas is Jennifer Frederickson, daughter of Lisa and Shane Frederickson of Tamaqua.
A third-grade student at Tamaqua Elementary School, Jennifer wrote "What the Spirit of Christmas means to me … It means spending time with those you love and those who love you, but most of all it means celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ."
