The Tamaqua Elks "Hoop Shoot" Free Throw Contest will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Tamaqua Elementary School gym.

The contest is open to boys and girls ages 8-13. Contestant age group will be determined by their age as of April 1, 2011.The starting times for each age group are as follows: 8-9 years old, 10 a.m.; 10-11 years old, 11 a.m.; and 12-13 years old, 12 p.m.The contest is free.
