One person was injured Sunday afternoon when involved in a rear end collision along Little Gap Road in Lower Towmensing Township, Carbon County. The crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. near the intersection with Lower Smith Gap Road. One person was transferred to St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, by the Palmerton ambulance. It appeared no one was injured in the second vehicle. The Aquashicola Fire Company responded to the scene. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
