Carbon County Special Olympics are in search of volunteers to help at the Bingo Tent at the Palmerton Community Festival held in the borough park.

Thursday, Sept. 9 is set up day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festival runs Sept. 10-12, with a rain date of Sept. 13.Bingo will be held from 5-11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 11, and from noon to 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12. The rain date is Monday, Sept. 13 from 5-10 p.m.Volunteers are needed to set up, clean up, sell bingo boards, raffle tickets, drinks, tally money and play bingo.If you have some time to spare, we would really appreciate your help. This fundraiser enables our local athletes to participate in several sports/competitions throughout the year.
