Pa. Honey queen promotes Pa. beekeeping and honey industries

Teresa Bryson, 18, daughter of Tom and Linda Bryson of Chambersburg, is the 2010 Pennsylvania Honey Queen. She will be visiting the Carbon County Fair from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11.

Bryson is a sophomore at Hagerstown Community College, double majoring in English and Forensic Science. She has been a 4-H member for the past 10 years, including serving as a youth instructor. In her free time, she enjoys reading, sewing, working in the family apiary and caring for the many animals on her families small farm.As the 2010 Pennsylvania Honey Queen, Bryson will travel throughout the state promoting the beekeeping and honey industries by attending schools, fairs, festivals and participating in media interviews.In addition, Teresa will represent Pennsylvania in 2011 as she competes for the American Honey Queen title in Galveston, Texas.
