Join Robin Tracey, environmental education specialist, Tuscarora State Park Complex, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, May 3 to explore the newly acquired land from Forestry. This hike is four miles in length and moderate in difficulty. The pine stands and brush are perfect habitat for birds and other wildlife. The hike will take walkers to the top of the mountain for some great views. Those planning to hike should meet at the visitor parking lot at Locust Lake State Park located before the contract station. Bring your dog for a nice relaxing hike in the woods. All pets must be leashed and get along with people and other pets. Registration is required by calling Tracey at (570) 467-2506 or online at
