Bach& Handel Chorale sets Spring Concert

The Bach and Handel Chorale of Jim Thorpe will present its Spring Concert at historic St. Mark's Church, 21 Race St., at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 1, under the direction of Randall D. Perry, artistic director.

This year's concert will feature many great choruses sung by the choral. Part I will include: "Surely, He Hath Borne Our Griefs," "And With His Stripes We Are Healed," and "All We Like Sheep" from Handel's "Messiah," as well as "Let Thy Hand Be Strengthened" from Handel's Coronation Anthem No. 4.Part II will include: Bach's "Dona Nobis Pacem" and other familiar choruses from Bach Cantatas. Maestro Perry will perform Gigue (from Harpsichord Concerto in G) by Handel.
