Troopers said Geralsine Malinoff, 64, of Effort, was driving northbound while Francis Eisenhauser III, 18, of Kresgeville, was southbound. Troopers said Malinoff turned in front of Eisenhauer. The front of Eisenhauer's car hit the rear of Malinoff's vehicle.Malinoff and passengers Nicholas Diceglie, 53, Louis Diceglie, 44, and Patty Dredger, 54, all of Effort, and Eisenhauer were all not injured.Troopers also investigated a crash along Interstate 80 in Kidder Township, Carbon County, about 5:50 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6. Troopers said Nulfi A. Leonardo Roman, 18, of Hazleton, was driving a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta westbound when the vehicle began to slide as it traveled around a curve. The vehicle hit guide rails along the berm.The driver and passengers Leugin M. Lopez, 18, and two 17-year-old males, all from Hazleton, were not injured. Troopers cited Leonardo Roman for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
