It won't be long before ladies are pampered and veterans are the toast of the town.

The Village at Palmerton will be the place to be for a "Day of Pampering" and a Veterans Day Dinner.

First on the docket is a "Day of Pampering", which will be held from 1-4 p.m. Nov. 7.

We are hosting this event to give back to the ladies who give so much,"said Jennifer Ebert, director of marketing and admissions. With the help of our vendors, it is our way to show our appreciation to all the ladies out there who deserve to be pampered."

Free and open to the public, the event will feature a True Autumn Bliss Package, which has a Harvest Pedicure, 30-minute massage, facial and micro-derma abrasion sponsored by True Spa.

There will also be Makeover's by Mary Kay, Virtual Hair Styles by Elaine, Nutrition & Diet by Peggy Shannon, aromatherapy, jewelry, fashion, wine tasting, appetizers, and more.

The event is sponsored by the Village at Palmerton and Bayada Nurses.

Just three days later, the annual Veterans Day Dinner will be held at 5 p.m. on Nov. 10 at the Village.

Musical entertainment will follow at 7 p.m. The Parryville Band will entertain as well.

This is what Veterans Day is all about," Ebert said. A day to reflect, show gratitude and respect for the men and women who serve and have served our country."

Ebert said the village will host a spaghetti & meatball dinner and entertainment for veterans and their spouses.

Many people do not know that there is meaning behind the date and times of celebrations on Veterans Day; we do," she said. We would like to take this time to say thank you, to all of our Veterans."

Ebert said space is limited, so those interested must reserve their seat by Nov. 5 by calling (610) 824-7406.
