Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is pleased to announce Michael G. Mutarelli of Slatington, instructor of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration technology, has earned certifications from North American Technician Excellence (NATE). The certifications are as follows:

Service Technician for Air Distribution

Service Technician for Air-to-Air Heat Pump Service Technician for Gas Furnaces Service Technician for Oil Furnaces Service Technician for Hydronics - Gas Service Technician for Hydronics - Oil

NATE is an independent, third-party organization that develops and promotes excellence in the installation and service of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment by recognizing high-quality industry technicians through voluntary testing and certification.

Mutarelli earned his certification by passing the stringent NATE exam.

The exam reflects a consensus industry opinion on what the average technician should know in order to effectively install and service air conditioning equipment and systems.
