A Monroe County man is facing a drug charge following an incident that occurred at 2:54 a.m. on Aug. 4.

State police at Fern Ridge said troopers stopped for a disabled vehicle at the intersection of routes 115 and 903 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County. At the stop troopers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.As a result, troopers said Andrew Sean Wisniewski, 20, of Blakeslee, was found to have in his possession a small bag containing .5 grams of marijuana in his pocket. Wisniewski was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
