Summit Hill police activity reported

Summit hill police have been busy lately.

On Sept. 22 police were called to Hiles Car Wash for an unresponsive person in a vehicle. They found Mark Norkus, 30, of 145 N. Kennedy Dr., McAdoo, under the influence of a controlled substance. He was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of a controlled substance.On Oct. 7 at 10:47 p.m. police received a report of a hit-and-run along East White Street. Jeffrey Hawk, 46, of 306 Hughes St., New Ringgold, had gotten involved in a hit-and-run crash then fled to Mahoning Township, where he crashed his vehicle. He was charged with careless driving and hit-and-run of a parked vehicle.On Oct. 8 at 1:22 a.m. police were called for a disturbance. They found Paul Walck, 20, of 305 E. Ludlow St., Apt 8. Walck needed medical attention and needed to be restrained. Medical crews were called but he refused treatment. Walck was charged with disorderly conduct.
