Lehigh Carbon Community College's (LCCC) new Business Enterprise Center (BEC) will hold an all-day workshop on Friday, Oct. 16 for entrepreneurs interested in starting their own business. The BEC is designed to help business students in developing their business plans and has a myriad of resources available to them, including the assistance of entrepreneurs/mentors available to coach students with the design and finance aspect of their projects.

Entrepreneurs – Start Your Business will take place in room 108 of the Alumni Center, Rothrock Library, on the main campus of LCCC in Schnecksville. Speakers are counselors from the Lehigh Valley Chapter of SCORE (Service Core of Retired Executives), an affiliate of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Open to the public and free of charge, this workshop will include the following:

8:30-9:30 a.m. - Registration and Breakfast

9 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Starting a Business?

12 – 1 p.m. - Lunch

1-3 p.m. – Buying a Business or Franchise?
