A daughter, Caroline Rose Metro, was born at 10:35 p.m. on Aug. 27, 2009 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown, to Scott M. and Jana M. (Maholick) Metro of Lehighton.

She weighed 5 pounds, 12.5 ounces and measured 19 1/2 inches long.Maternal grandparents are Robert and Gail (Christman) Maholick of Lehighton. Paternal grandparents are Michael and Eileen (Petresh) Metro of Lansford.
