A Schuylkill County teen was flown to a medical facility after he was assaulted by several individuals along a roadway in the county.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred about 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, along E. Grand Ave. (SR209) at N. Second St., in Tower City.Troopers said William T. Romberger, 18, of 706 Wiconisco Ave., Tower City, was assaulted by three or four individuals who punched and kicked him knocking him unconscious to the ground. Romberger was flown by LifeFlight helicopter to the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, for treatment of injuries.Troopers ask anyone with information concerning the incident to call them at (570) 593-2000.
