Angel Tree benefits 15 families

For the past three years employees and visitors to Nesquehoning McDonald's reached in their pockets and contributed to the Angel Tree at the store.

Bertha Shreffler stopped by the store to pick up the gifts for the children. Combined with the Toys for Tots in Hazleton with Nick Saullo as the representative and McDonald'sone hundredpresents were available for the families. Fifty-two children will receive the toys this Christmas. Shreffler commented, " It was all because God gave McDonald's a helping hand to come together to make this possible."The toys will be distributed by the church just in time to the needy families for the holiday season.
