NL girls cop tourney title

Northern Lehigh's boys and girls both posted tournament victories to highlight area basketball action on Saturday. The Lady Bulldogs win gave them a tourney championship.

The Bulldogs routed Tulpehocken, 51-18, in the championship game.The Bulldogs' Sonya Josephson scored 15 of her game-high 22 points in the first half while Aimee Oertner hit double figures with a 16-point performance.Aimee Oertner was named the Tournament Most Valuable Player.
