In a Police Log article last week, The TIMES NEWS incorrectly listed the details of a traffic accident that happened at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, on Rt. 534 in Penn Forest Township.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said Kristen M. Cannalley, 18, of Albrightsville, was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix that was stopped on the shoulder of the roadway facing east when it was struck in the rear by an unidentified vehicle that continued east after the initial point of impact.The previous Police Log incorrectly stated Cannalley was driving the vehicle that struck the parked vehicle. The TIMES NEWS apologizes for the error.She was uninjured in the mishap.Police have not identified the driver of the other vehicle, which they said was traveling too fast for conditions.
