A Ted Kennedy legacy
Dear Editor:
With the passing of H.R. 3962 we are on our way to having affordable health care for all American citizens. After opposing things like this for a long time, Ted Kennedy saw the light and pushed for this kind of health care. This can be a Ted Kennedy legacy.
At this time many insurance companies have charged my wife hundreds of dollars for health insurance, but when a claim was submitted we were told, "We don't cover that"! Without insurance a doctor that my wife was refered too, instead of offering some plan to pay in installments, said $15,000 up front or live on pain pills until you go on medicare.
If I was an Illegal Alien I would not be writing this letter, I could have a free ride on health care.
