Melanie Dale, 104 Lansford Court, 28, On Feb. 29, at 2:42 p.m., police were dispatched to 104 Lansford Court for drug overdose. Investigation led that Dale bought some controlled substance and was had a bad reaction to them. There was a child in her apartment with her. She was charged with possesion of controlled substance and endangering the welfare of children.

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by officers.

On April 16 about 7:21 p.m. officers observed what appeared to be a domestic incident occurring between a male and female in the parking lot of the Wawa store at state routes 115 and 940. The two subjects then left the lot with the male driving. The vehicle then pulled into a closed business and a few moments later the vehicle exited with the female driving.

Copper wiring was reported stolen from a remote tower site in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said 75-feet of the ground wire was removed from remote site along Tuscarora Mountain Road, in Schuylkill Township. The theft occurred sometime between April 21 and Wednesday, April 25. The listed victim of the theft is Green's Communications of Pottsville.

A Summit Hill man was charged for driving under the influence (DUI) after police investigated a one-vehicle accident.

According to Summit Hill police, on March 8, at 10:49 p.m., officers received a dispatch for an accident of a vehicle, which traveled over the guiderail in the area of 20 E. White Bear Drive.

An investigation revealed that the driver, Mark Goff, 36, of 315 N. Pine St., was intoxicated.

He was charged with two counts of DUI and careless driving.

State police at Fern Ridge reported the arrest of a Monroe County resident for violating the state dog law.

Troopers said Suzanne M. Bowman, of Saylorsburg, was cited for confinement and housing of dogs not part of a kennel.

Troopers said Laurie Ann Heath, of Saylorsburg, was walking in the area of Barberry Crossing, in Chestnuthill Township, about 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, when Bowman's dog left her property and allegedly made contact with Heath. Heath alleges the dog bit her, troopers said.

A non-traffic citation was filed against Bowman, troopers added.

State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of wiring from a cell phone tower in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said about 150 feet of ground wire was stolen from a tower located in Delano Township and owned by Crown Castle Corporation of Canonsburg, Washington County.

The theft occurred sometime between April 1 and Tuesday, April 24.

A Lansford man was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) after police conducted a traffic stop.

According to Summit Hill police, on March 4, at 1:15 a.m., officers were on routine patrol along SR902 when they observed a vehicle that was driving in front of them drive off the roadway and back onto the roadway, crossing into the oncoming lane of traffic.

Police conducted a traffic stop and a short investigation revealed that the driver, Daniel Faille, 23, of 38 Jones St., was intoxicated and was also driving on a suspended license.

A 13-year-old Coaldale female was charged after she started a fight at Panther Valley Middle School.

According to Summit Hill police, on March 13, officers received a report that there was an incident at the middle school where the female caused a disturbance by fighting.

She was charged with disorderly conduct.

The body of a Monroe County woman, reported missing on Monday and last seen on Saturday, has been found.

State police at Fern Ridge said the body of Angela Mayo, 61, of Mount Pocono, was located on Tuesday within Big Pocono State Park, in Jackson Township.

Her car was found in the bushes off a parking lot at the park on Monday. She failed to report for work Monday and was last seen on Saturday. Relatives and friends were contacted by troopers after her vehicle was found but no one knew where she was.

A Tamaqua woman has been cited after apparently having too much alcohol to drink on April 20.

Officers were dispatched to the Penn and Oak streets area at 6:09 a.m. and found Shawn Lorraine Bush, 40, asleep in the gutter, wedged between a parked Chevy Blazer and the curb.

She was cited for public drunkenness.
