Jim Thorpe police have reported the arrest of Natalie Sue Lupini, 22, of Bloomsburg, on charges of persistent disorderly conduct and public drunkenness as a result of an incident at 12:45 a.m. Nov. 24.

Police said Lupini was visibly upset and crying when she contacted an officer who was conducting a separate traffic stop. The woman told police she did not know where she was and that her boyfriend had left her. Police said the woman was "manifestly under the influence of alcohol."

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on the following arrests made by officers.

Police reported the arrest of two individuals for an incident that occurred on June 20 at Joe's Kwik Mart in Pocono Summit.

In June officers were called to the mart for a report of a large amount of money stolen during the night shift. Through an investigation, police reviewed store surveillance cameras and interviewed store employees. Police learned the suspects were in the store and when a store employee went outside for a break the theft occurred.

Two area drivers, one from Tamaqua and the other from Palmerton, were involved in separate crashes in Lehigh County recently.

A crash occurred about 10:27 a.m. on Nov. 21 at the on-ramp to Interstate 78 at Cedar Crest Blvd., in Salisbury Township. Troopers said Jeffrey A. Rhodes, 41, of Palmerton, was operating a 2001 Ford Focus and merging from the ramp to go eastbound on 78. Troopers said Rhodes was driving too fast for conditions and struck a 2005 Jeep Cherokee driven by Ronald R. Frantz, 65, of Easton.

A Monroe County man is facing burglary and related charges for an incident that occurred on Friday, Nov. 25.

State police at Lehighton alleges that Matthew Joseph Pepe, of Saylorsburg, along with two others who have not yet been identified, entered the residence at 303 Leisure Court, Ross Township, about 2 p.m. A rear glass door was smashed to gain entry. Once inside the intruders removed all the copper piping from the basement. They then took a 1985 Ford E350 van from the driveway with a tow truck and fled the scene.

State police at Lehighton reported investigating an assault incident at a Carbon County youth camp.

Troopers said Troy S. Bartholomew, 24, of Saylorsburg, a staff member at Camp Adams, located in Penn Forest Township, was assaulted by a resident of the camp, identified as James Lewis, 20, of Philadelphia.

Troopers said Bartholomew instructed Lewis to end a phone conversation about 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 29. Lewis then began to punch Bartholomew in the left side of the head about six times.

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on a retail theft arrest made this week.

Police said about 9:13 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29, security personnel at the Walmart store in Mount Pocono observed a man removing two tee-shirts from a rack, removing his shirt, and putting the two shirts on. He then put a jacket on and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items.

The man was stopped and held by store personnel until police arrived. The man was identified as Carlos J. Silva, 34, of Bangor. He was issued a citation for retail theft.

Kidder Township police reported on two burglaries and a vehicle break-in.

Police said the residence at 230 S. Lake Drive, Lake Harmony, was entered sometime between Nov. 22-25. Entry was gained by breaking a window to the rear of the home. Nothing appeared to be taken in the incident, police said.

The second break-in occurred at 246 S. Lake Drive, during the time span of Nov. 19-27. A window to the rear was smashed to gain entry. Nothing was apparently taken in this entry.

State police at Lehighton reported investigating two burglaries recently.

Troopers said Quality Collision business, located at 444 S. Allen St., Weisport, was entered by force. Removed was a personal computer and a digital camera. The incident occurred sometime between Saturday, Nov. 26, and Monday, Nov. 28.

A home along Mount Eaton Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County, was entered sometime between Nov. 23 and 27. Forced entry was made to the residence and rmoved from a rifle and assorted jewelry.

A shooting incident has led to a Schuylkill County woman being charged.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said about 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, Kelly Mintz, 20, Kaitlyn Mintz, 19, Andrew Diemer, 21, and Thomas Blankenhorn, 26, all of Schuylkill Haven, were in the area of 30 Mintz Lane, in South Manheim Township, tracking a wounded deer which had been shot earlier in the evening. The four had flashlights and were tracking the deer in the dark.

Jim Thorpe police have arrested David M. Neff Jr., 21, of Allentown, on various charges stemming from an incident at 7:10 p.m. Oct. 30 on the Flagstaff Road,

Police said they were summoned there for a report of individuals in distress and upon arrival, located an individual who identified himself as Michael Dre of Allentown. Police said they found a small amount of suspected marijuana in the man's possession, along with several cigars which he admitted smoking as blunts. The suspect was informed he would receive charges in the mail.
