A driver involved in a crash along Meixell Valley Road in Ross Township, Monroe County, about 8:40 p.m. on Friday, July 23, is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).

State police at Lehighton said John D. Crilley Jr., 28, of Effort, was westbound in a 2004 Saturn Ion when the vehicle went onto the northern edge causing him to lose control. Crilley over-corrected his steering, troopers said, with the car crossing the eastbound lane before striking a mailbox. The vehicle continued on the southern edge and struck trees before coming to rest.

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on two crashes probed by troopers along Schuylkill County roadways, including one in which a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) is pending.

A crash occurred about 4:05 a.m. on Sunday, July 25, along SR125 in Hegins Township. Troopers said Nikki E. Klock, 25, of Pitman, was driving a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta southbound near the intersection with Deep Creek Road when she continued straight off a sharp right down hill curve and struck a tree head-on. Klock said she fell asleep and did not realize the car had left the road.

A road rage incident in Schuylkill County led to the arrest of a Montgomery County man.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred along White Birch Road, in West Brunswick Township, on July 16 about 7:30 p.m.

Troopers said a 17-year-old male from Schuylkill Haven was driving aggressively and his passenger spit out the window at the car of Jose Antonio Marrero, 44, of Pennsburg. Marrero then followed the teen until he pulled over. At this point the teen and Marrero began a verbal argument.

A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one vehicle crash that occurred about 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 25, along Deep Creek Road south of Creek Road, in Barry Township.

State police at Frackville are investigating an indecent exposure incident.

Troopers said an anonymous caller reported that a white male, wearing red shorts and no shirt was exposing himself to passing motorists along Cold Run Road in East Brunswick Township. The incident was reported on Sunday, July 25, about 1:44 p.m.

An act of vandalism to a church in Schuylkill County is being investigated.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred at Manbeck's Evangelical Church located at 110 Wild Cherry Rd., in Schuylkill Haven, Washington Township. Troopers said unknown criminals threw eggs and sprayed graffiti on the church siding. The incident occurred sometime between July 19 at 11 a.m. and July 21 at 12:20 p.m.

Troopers also reported on other acts of criminal mischief.

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a shooting incident at a Schuylkill County residence.

Troopers said unknown persons fired an unknown caliber bullet into the rear of the home of Arland Becker, 48, of 1338 Mountain Rd., in Pine Grove, Washington Township. The bullet traveled through the aluminum siding entering the interior of the home and then becoming lodged in the mattress of a second floor child's bedroom.

A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 3:05 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, at the intersection of SR924 and SR339, in Brandonville, East Union Township.

State police at Frackville said Charles S. Williams, 45, of Lost Creek, was stopped for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and taken to the barracks for a breath test. The test indicated Williams was over the legal limit of .08 percent. He will be charged, troopers added.

State police at Lehighton are investigating two theft incidents.

Susan J. Pywar, 43, of 425 White St., Weissport, reported someone removed two bicycles from the side of her residence. The bikes were described as being 16-inch Next with one black/pink in color and the other black/blue in color. They are valued at $200. The incident occurred sometime between 10 p.m. on July 21 and 10:30 a.m. on July 22.

Robert Boileau, 56, of Saylorsburg, reported someone used his electronic information to purchase goods in Elizabeth, N.J., on July 19 about 6:35 a.m.
